Mumbai (PRWEB) November 1, 2005
A group of IT professionals has launched India’s first network of technology blogs that allows its members to create their own blogs and share knowledge on information technology. Named ITvidya.com, the network also hosts expert-managed blogs in areas of coding, design, database, operating systems (OS), emerging technologies, enterprise solutions, outsourcing, web and wireless technologies.
Blogs (acronym for ‘web log’) are personal journals on the web that express as many different subjects and opinions as there are people writing them. “Blogs let everyone have a voice, and are fundamentally shifting the way we use the web,” says Ajay Sanghani, founder, ITvidya.com, and running a UK-based E-business Consultancy (http://www.ebizlive.co.uk) with over 15 years IT experience
“With blogs around, the web is now no more just a library, but also an interactive conversation platform allowing active participation by all users not only to read, but also write and comment,” Sanghani adds.
“ITvidya.com aims to build India 's largest blogging network of IT professionals with the purpose of Creating information, sharing knowledge, interacting with peers, learning, growing and creating opportunities for each other,” says Ajay. ITVidya will offer unique facilities like tagging of content for easy content categorization and rating content submitted by the bloggers. Ashok Chandran, a leading e-business strategist has joined in as the advisory board member of ITVidya and says “Blogging today already offers a platform for individual self expression worldwide, what is needed now is to offer easily accessible, user rated and professional quality content to information seekers, through content networking. Another breakthrough idea of this project is its ability to support corporate blogging through professional content, photo blogging and well nurtured communities.”
Manish Nakar, CTO of ITVidya adds, “Creating blogs at ITvidya.com is free and easy. Users will be able to set up their own blogs whose URLS will be username.itvidya.com.”
“Users of ITVidya will get tips and advice on blogging and how to position themselves as experts in their domain. This fills in a gap in the Indian IT world where many talented professionals don’t have an effective medium to project themselves to the global marketplace,” says Ajay, “Our Slogan says it all Gain IT…Share IT allowing members access to gain and share IT Knowledge.”
ITvidya.com will be organizing a series of events related to blogging in different cities of India in the coming few months.
