(PRWEB) November 10, 2005 -- On April 4, 2004, Darlene Reschke was a passenger in a 1987 black Dodge Ram SUV, driven by her husband Steven Reschke. Mr. & Mrs. Reschke are from Forney, Texas. Mr. & Mrs. Reschke, were involved in an automobile accident with Heather Collins, a 20 year old student. Ms. Collins was driving a 1996 blue Chevrolet C1500 pick up truck. Ms. Collins was attempting to make an illegal u-turn on FM740. Mr. & Mrs. Reschke were traveling north on FM740. Ms. Collins caused the accident resulting in the injuries to Mr. & Mrs. Reschke.
Mrs. Reschke’s injuries included a C-6/C-7 transverse process fracture. Mrs. Reschke had surgery at Baylor Hospital and remained hospitalized for approximately 10 days. Mrs. Reschke also suffered rib fractures, and soft tissue injuries. Mrs. Reschke’s total medical expenses were in excess of $130,000.00.
Grossman Law Offices obtained the policy limits of $100,000 from Farmers Insurance, the insurance carrier for Heather Collins. Grossman Law Offices obtained the policy limits of $25,000 from Southern Farm Bureau, Mrs. Reschke’s underinsured carrier.
