Belfast, UK (PRWEB) November 1, 2005
Mobile Cohesion, the company that has pioneered the concept of partner, profit and performance focused relationship management solutions for the mobile industry, has appointed a leading industry professional to its board.
With more than 20 years of telecom industry experience, Paul Van Doorn has held executive posts with Global One, KPN Telecom, KPNQwest, and has been instrumental in developing corporate strategies and building successful management teams across a number of disciplines.
Most recently, Paul was Executive Director of the International Business Department at NTT DoCoMo, where he helped design its European strategy and supported potential acquisitions and partnerships in Europe. While at NTT DoCoMo he served as a Non Executive Board member of Hutchison 3G, a UK Mobile Operator providing advanced 3G services - originally set up as a joint venture between Hutchison Wampoa, KPN and NTT DoCoMo Inc.
This addition to the Mobile Cohesion board comes at a time when network operators and service providers realize that they need to implement partner relationship management solutions in order to improve profitability and overall business performance.
Denis Murphy, Executive Chairman at Mobile Cohesion, said, “We are delighted to have Paul van Doorn join our board at this important time in the development of the company. We have successfully sold our 3PRM solution ‘HYDRA’ to market-leading operators, and the market for the product is really beginning to take off. Paul’s strategic insights along with his experience of building global sales and partnerships will bring tremendous value to our team. Collectively we will be focusing on expanding market share through innovative thought and value added relationship development, and Paul will be invaluable as we drive to achieve leadership in this explosive market.”
Paul van Doorn commented on his appointment, “I’m delighted be joining the team at Mobile Cohesion. I have no doubt that the market the company is focused on in the mobile space – partner relationship management – is set to grow markedly. Content is increasingly king but, increasingly, it is delivered through complex networks of partnerships. Surely it’s good common sense practice to have a robust platform to manage content and application provider relationships. In my view Mobile Cohesion is the most visionary player in the space and has a talented bunch of people to turn the vision into reality.”
