Tallen & Keshen Holdings, a retail development and investment company, has acquired a 7.8 acre site with a 91,000 sf retail center for redevelopment located on the historic Monterey Peninsula on Monterey Bay in Marina, CA, 6 miles from the city of Monterey and 12 miles from Pebble Beach and Carmel. Tallen & Keshen's shopping center project, Gateway Marina at Monterey Bay, will cater to the considerable residential and commercial growth in Monterey County, Ft. Ord's redeveopment and the Marina community.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 1, 2005 -- Tallen & Keshen Holdings principals, Terrence Tallen and Anne Keshen, announced today that they have acquired a 91,000 sf retail center situated on 7.8 acres for redevelopment on the historic Monterey Peninsula in Marina, CA, adjacent to the Ft. Ord army base new redevelopment, the locale of several of California’s highest growth planned new residential communities.

“The much anticipated housing boom on the Monterey Peninsula due to the re-development of Ft. Ord and the considerable migration of families, retirees and tourists who want to live or spend time along the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, creates a strong and sustained demand for a variety of retail uses in both Monterey County and the Marina community,” comments Terrence Tallen and Anne Keshen, the project owners and re-developers.

The property named the Gateway Marina at Monterey Bay is located at 150 Beach Road off Hwy 1 and Reservation Road at the Gateway to the Monterey Peninsula in Marina, CA, approximately 6 miles from the city of Monterey and 12 miles from Carmel and Pebble Beach. Marina is located on Monterey Bay, 108 miles south of San Francisco, 355 miles north of Los Angeles and approximately 40 miles south of San Jose.

Tallen & Keshen Holdings plans to immediately enhance the appearance of the property and the large parking area, which sits on 7.8 acres and will evaluate a number of re-development options at the site, which may include developing the property as a multi-tenant project or with one user. “We are only beginning to assess retailer interest in the property,” comments Mr. Tallen and Ms. Keshen, “however, we are receiving a strong degree of interest, now that an ownership group with our background and experience is in place and prepared to move forward,” comments Tallen and Keshen.
