Travel and vacation firms Faremax, Inc. and RHT Travel, Inc. have recently launched a new travel agent’s portal and affiliate program site -- http://www.agentsky.com
RHT Travel and Faremax.com have one of the largest databases of consolidated airfares in the world. Consolidated fares (sometimes called ‘NET’, Private or Negotiated fares) are acquired from airlines in bulk at knock-down prices -- as much as 60 percent lower than regular airfares. The two firms have made significant profits selling consolidated fares online, and are seeking to expand their user base through the Agentsky affiliate program.
‘It makes sense for existing travel agents, and even general entrepreneurs to sign up for our program,’ says Ilya Epshteyn, Faremax CEO and one of the founders of the AgentSky service. ‘The best thing is that very little effort is required -- customers don’t even have to leave our affiliate’s websites. When an affiliate signs up for the AgentSky program we integrate a custom booking engine into their site. It costs nothing to start up and affiliates can start making money right away.’
Signing up as an AgentSky affiliate is quick, easy and free. Additionally, for affiliates that don’t already have a website, Faremax and RHT are offering to build a custom website for a low fee. Although affiliates are subject to a number of conditions -- requiring them, for example, not to mimic the look or feel of http://www.faremax.com -- the terms and conditions of AgentSky allow affiliates a good deal of independence by the standards of many affiliate schemes. As well as offering commission on sales of air tickets, the AgentSky scheme also allows affiliates to sell car rentals and hotel bookings for a commission-based fee.
‘We’re confident that this is going to be very popular with travel agents and entrepreneurs,’ says Ilya Epshteyn. ‘It’s a great, low-risk way of capitalizing on the huge and growing popularity of international air travel.’
faremax.com is a leading vendor of discounted leisure travel products, offering consumers affordable one-stop shopping for all of their travel needs. The company offers consumers one of the largest collections of discounted airfares (more than one million unpublished fares offered on more than 600 major airlines), car rentals and hotel accommodations in the industry. By only partnering with trusted travel brands, faremax allows budget travelers to buy higher quality travel for a lower price. Faremax matches the needs of two groups: customers who can be flexible about their choice of airline, hotel and car rental company in order to save money, and suppliers who have excess seats, rooms and cars they want to fill.
