Kingdom Bound Christian music festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary August 6-9, 2006, at Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park and camping resort. Reservations for lodging/camping packages recently started online at http://www.kingdombound.org.
Six Flags Darien Lake is located in rural Darien Center, New York, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester. The park’s extensive campgrounds regularly welcome more than 10,000 Kingdom Bound festival-goers each summer.
Various lodging/camping packages are available for Kingdom Bound 2006, including:
1)hotel room at the Lodge on the Lake
2)35' RV trailers with AC
3)water and electric hook-up sites
4)non-water and non-electric overflow sites
All site packages include a minimum of six wristbands good for the amusement park and festival from Sunday-Wednesday with a check out on Thursday morning. If a customer chooses to stay on grounds at the park for the full four days they have the opportunity of spending the day at the amusement park on Thursday at no extra cost once they have exited the campgrounds.
Kingdom Bound has welcomed more than a million visitors since its inception two decades ago. Well over 700 concerts and 500 seminars have taken place at Kingdom Bound over the years.
Some of Christian music’s biggest names, including Michael W. Smith, Rebecca St. James, Newsboys, and MercyMe, have played the festival.
Several celebrities, including actors Kirk Cameron and Stephen Baldwin, have made multiple appearances.
