About the Designer
Raised in Chicago, Bari Ackerman, (the J is for Jill, her middle name) has always had a love of the arts. As a theatre student, costume and design became a passion. A veritable color-junkie, Bari not only designs handbags and accessories, she also creates jewelry and collage using vintage and found pieces.
