As a Halloween treat, one of Aspen’s four mountains, Snowmass, received 14 inches of snow over the weekend. And with opening day, Nov. 24, right around the corner, snowmaking is underway.

As a Halloween treat, one of Aspen’s four mountains, Snowmass, received 14 inches of snow over the weekend. And with opening day, Nov. 24, right around the corner, snowmaking is underway.

Opening day is also Thanksgiving, and Aspen is celebrating by hosting “Thanksjibbing,” a two-day event featuring art, music and a new school jib event.
