Houston, TX (PRWEB) November 4, 2005

Progressive Women's Network, Inc. hosts their 1st annual New Years Eve event, Le Femme Masquerade Soiree at the Houston's newest Hot spot, 713 Restaurant and Lounge, 10001 Westheimer Rd @ Beltway 8, Ste. 1040.

Progressive Women's Network, Inc. (PWN), a non profit organization based in Houston, Texas (http://www.houstonpwn.org), introduces the organization to the Gay and Lesbian community with an elaborate New Years Eve event, appropriately named, Le Femme Masquerade Soiree.

"New Years Eve is one of the most festive and eagerly awaited events of the year, and we have answered the call of many who seek an event for those with exquisite taste. Women and men in the Gay and Lesbian community were looking for something "different", an event for those who want to have a good time in a safe environment among like-minded business professionals", said Felica Bradford, Executive Director of the organization. "We create networking programs and events for every community, not only within the Gay and Lesbian Community. When our members identify a need in any community, we consider what we can do as an organization to begin filling that need, and that is how the concept for Le Femme Masquerade Soiree evolved. New Year's Eve is a time to celebrate, and in the past GLBT Women of color were lacking several choices of venues for them to attend. We are definitely not the only event planned for New Years Eve, but we hope to be the event everyone will talk about for weeks, one where all women can have a great time; an event with class, a hot DJ, and plenty of perks."

Peter Nguyen, the owner of 713, has graciously extended himself and his staff for the event, going as far as providing a food tasting for the members of the organization, and assisted in the selection of each individual Hor D'oevres for the event.

We never dreamed that we would get the response that we have gotten, after only passing out a few flyers, this is truly going to be a great event".
