The "new" P+S Technik accessories are designed with the end user in mind, together creating one versatile capturing system.

Building on the success of the popular Mini35 Digital Image Converter, P+S Technik is proud to announce a new line of Mini35 professional system accessories. The new accessories include the Mini35 Breakout Box, Battery Holder, Shoulder Pad and professional viewfinder connections. When used together, the new accessories combine to form one versatile and integrated system.

The new Breakout Box is essentially the heart of the Mini35 system. The Breakout Box provides video outputs for high-end, professional viewfinders as well as additional monitoring. In addition, the Breakout Box distributes power to the entire system, including the image converter, camera and accessories, all from one battery. The Mini35 Battery Holder attaches most high end V-mount or snap-on batteries like Anton Bauer and PAG.

For added versatility, users can take advantage of the Mini35 professional viewfinder connections. Users can now attach either the Sony DXF801 or Canon FU-1000 viewfinders and adjust the viewfinder in three directions. The Breakout Box provides the video signal.

Comfort plays a big part in a videographer’s ability to withstand the hardships of a long shoot. Designed with comfort in mind, the Mini35 Shoulder Pad is the essential accessory for any videographer on the go or who is constantly shooting from the shoulder. The Mini35 Shoulder Pad clips on firmly and stays in place, helping reduce fatigue by providing an extra level of cushioning and support.

P+S Technik Mini35:

For those who shoot in 35mm, controlling DOF is an expensive luxury. MiniDV shooters, on the other hand, have missed out on the ability to fully express their creativity and capture their subjects as they would like since DOF control has been beyond the boundaries of DV format camcorders, until now.

The P+S Technik Mini35 Digital Image Converter allows DV shooters to use 35mm film lenses on digital video camcorders, producing film-quality images in MiniDV and HDV format. The Mini35 Digital image converter is available for the Canon XL1/XL1s/XL2, the Sony HDR-FX1/HVR-Z1U, the Panasonic AG-DVX 100A/DVX100 and the new JVC GY-HD100U cameras. With the Mini35 in place, DOF, focus and angle-of-view are virtually the same as with a 35mm motion picture camera.

The standard Mini35 package consists of the Series 400 Mini35 Digital Image Converter, camera adaptor, shoulder and camera support, two 15mm rods, side and top handle and lens mount. Choice of lens mounts include Arri PL, Nikon, Panavision, Leica, Zeiss Contax and Canon EF. The base of the Mini35 Digital Image Converter is fitted with a standard 3/8mm thread for compatibility with most tripods and studio support systems.
