EZ Lube Wins Best Looking Lube Contest

The Melrose EZ Lube location was awarded the overall winner in the 2005 National Oil and Lube News Best Looking Lube Contest from amongst 10,000 fast lubes nationally.

Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) November 5, 2005 -- Who says a fast lube center can’t be a thing of beauty? EZ Lube is proud to announce that its Melrose location was crowned the overall winner in the National Oil and Lube News seventh annual Best Looking Lube Contest.

NOLN is the industry’s oldest and largest trade publication and represents more then 10,000 fast lubes. In the judging process, the editorial panel of judges took a close look at the photos submitted for the contest, paying close attention to the lube shop’s attractiveness, cleanliness and uniqueness.

Judges called EZ Lube’s exterior design, “refreshing.” “With it’s Mediterranean architecture, colonnaded entrance and glistening fountain, this three-bay EZ Lube…wouldn’t look out of place in the Spanish Riviera.” They also applauded the building’s “classical good looks” remarking that the structure looked more like a bank or office building than a traditional auto service shop. They were just as impressed with the well-designed interior, which they labeled “clean, sparkling and cheery.”

EZ Lube now has 70 facilities throughout Southern California including its newest locations in Mission Viejo, Pasadena and Long Beach. They’ve also opened a brand new training center in Santa Ana where their service technicians undergo a rigorous 3-part training class.
