Joining the ranks of both the Inc. 500 and the Philly 100 in the same year is an incredible honor. Without the trust of our clients over the last five years and the hard work of our consultants none of this would be possible

Empyrean Management Group’s CEO Michael G. Kalinsky is featured an article in Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500 issue out on newsstands this week. Kalinsky is one of several Inc. 500 winners profiled in an article entitled “Has Anyone Seen the Boss?” Kalinsky is pictured in the uniform he wears as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for Harleysville Area EMS, a Montgomery County, PA based provider of 911 services. Inc. took a look at what some of the CEO’s on the Inc. 500 list do to deal with the stresses of running their companies. The Inc. 500 is a list of the five hundred fastest growing privately held companies in the US with revenues of at least $500,000 per year. Empyrean Management Group was ranked number 385.

“The reporter from Inc. found it a little odd that I would go from my office to an ambulance as a form of stress relief. I have always felt that the time I have spent over the last 20 years in EMS has benefited me in my work life in countless ways. Work is always filled with ambiguities that just aren’t there when you and your partner need to make the right choices to ensure someone’s health and safety. Being an EMT gives me perspective on what a tough day really is,” Mike Kalinsky, President and CEO of Empyrean Management Group.

This week also marks Empyrean Management Group’s first ever entrée onto the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Philly 100 list of fastest growing privately held companies in the Philadelphia metro area. The Philly 100 is compiled by the Philadelphia Business Journal and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Small Business Development Center. EMG appeared on the list at number 78. “Joining the ranks of both the Inc. 500 and the Philly 100 in the same year is an incredible honor. Without the trust of our clients over the last five years and the hard work of our consultants none of this would be possible,” said Empyrean Management Group’s COO Jermaine Williamson.

Empyrean Management Group is based in Blue Bell, PA with offices in Richmond, VA, Dallas, TX, and San Diego, CA. EMG’s 90 plus employees provide outsourced HR, Recruiting, Retention and Training Services to Fortune 500 companies throughout the US. EMG works supports clients in industries as varied as Financial Services to Pharma with Fixed Cost / Fixed Time solutions that provide the highest Return on Investment.
