Snowtacular 2005, now in its second year, is slated for November 26. The winter carnival and holiday season kick-off includes 20 tons of snow brought in for the event, visits and photos with Santa Claus, horse and carriage rides, live music and holiday fashions on the Snowtacular stage, and kid's entertainment in Santa's Village.
(PRWEB) November 6, 2005 -- The 2nd Annual Snowtacular 2005 will be held at Tri-City Shopping Center in Redlands, California. This major winter holiday "kick-off", and Thanksgiving Weekend Sales event, unfolds on November 26, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Snowtacular 2005! is the largest, free, fun, good old-fashioned holiday celebration in the Inland Empire. The outdoor party includes 20 tons of snow for the young and young-at-heart to play in and old fashion horse drawn carriage rides with Santa Claus. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Snowtacular 2005!, so bring the whole family and don't forget your camera.
The celebration and Thanksgiving Weekend Sales Event, sponsored by Redlands Tri-City Center merchants, is free and open to the general public.
Live entertainment on the Snowtacular Stage, hosted by Hollywood personality Juanita Tapia, will showcase the Billy Blue Band, a four piece ensemble performing easy listening Christmas favorites with a rhythm and blues flavor. A holiday fashion show featuring apparel from Citiwear, Styles for Less and Tempo Fashions is an early afternoon feature. Redlands community groups will also perform including choral, Tae Kwon Do, and square dance clubs. The Redlands Fire Department and a U.S. military color guard will also participate.
This year's Snowtacular includes Merchant's Lane and select sidewalk sales - featuring the best of Tri-City Shopping Center's products and services. Participating merchants have discounts, promotional give-aways, and fun and games planned, for as long as supplies last. Local community groups and non-profits will also be exhibiting at Snowtacular, showcasing their volunteer work and programs for the community. A unique feature of this year's Snowtacular is a car rally hosted by Corvettes of Southern California.
Redlands' Tri-City Shopping Center is conveniently located off the Interstate 10 Freeway, at either the Alabama Street or Tennessee Street exits south.
