XPole FAZ Miniature Circuit Breakers
XPole FAZ Miniature Circuit Breakers offer a variety of features that make them both powerful and versatile.
(PRWEB) November 6, 2005 -- The comprehensive range of Moeller Electric Xpole FAZ miniature circuit-breakers, in stock at KMParts.com, are single pole thermal magnetic over current protective devices. FAZ...-NA switches are UL 489 listed as molded case circuit breakers. Per the intent of the NEC (National Electric Code), the FAZ switches can be used as a branch circuit protective device. In addition, they can be used in any application that is covered by a UL 1077 supplementary protector because UL 489 meets or exceeds all the requirements of UL 1077.
This dynamic range offers the following tripping characteristics:
Type B – Utilized for domestic/commercial installations without power surges such as Filament lamps and wall sockets.
Type C – Utilized for commercial/light industrial installations with switching surges such as fluorescent lighting or small motors.
Type D - Utilized for abnormally high inrush currents such as motors with heavy starting duty.
Type K – Utilized to prevent nuisance tripping during starting of three phase loads, such as. motors or transformers, and provide closer protection than B, C or D types.
Type S - Utilized for the protection of control circuits with high inrush currents and transformers.
The range includes components for residual current protection and modular installation devices for remote switching, timing and signaling. Further features and benefits include: worldwide approvals and shipping classification, DIN rail clip mounting, snap fitting accessories that reduce installation time and simplify the fitting and removing of components, single design concept to improve panel appearance, Busbar clamps and high capacity box terminals to multiply your connection options.
The miniature circuit-breakers and residual-current circuit-breakers have standard accessories that include a remote switching module that allows an automatic restart attempt in the event of undesired tripping. The Busbar system allows the combination of differently sized devices.
