But not to worry...Hannah Evans is hot on the trail—and will no doubt be enlisting the help of her sexy sibling and their Sunday school teacher turned mortuary receptionist to solve the mystery. This trio will take you through the backstreets of the Bible belt, leaving no headstone unturned, as they fight for truth, justice, and a good cup of coffee--with an occasional break for a good haircut and a night of passion.

by Texas author Cindy Daniel.

Daniel redefines the romantic mystery genre with her adventures in Destiny; bringing back her zany characters, off-the-wall humor, and country-style murder.

When asked what readers can expect from the new mystery, Daniel says,

"Moving back home to Destiny, Texas isn't proving to be the quiet respite Hannah Fogarty Evans dreamed of when she left suburban bliss, and her cheating husband, in her rearview mirror.

Yes, she's realizing her dream of opening a mystery bookstore; Yes, she found Mr. Right, in the form of a six-foot-four handsome sheriff. But, when the bookstore attracts an elderly widow with a mystery of her own, Hannah may need more help than Carolyn Hart or Lonnie Cruse can provide.

Who's threatening a feeble old widow? And why would she come to the mystery bookstore owner for protection? As Hannah starts unraveling this

tangled web she finds more than she bargained for: eccentric heirs, animal activists, and maybe even a few stray bullets. What a way to spoil a romance--good thing the Sheriff of Van Zandt County has a big gun..."

When not writing her mystery series, Daniel is hard at work on her non-fiction account of her breast cancer experience and the effect it had on her teenage daughter. It's Not About You: A Mother and Daughter's Journey Through Breast Cancer is scheduled for a 2006 release.

Daniel is the current Southwest Chapter President of Mystery Writers of America and a member of Sisters in Crime. She is also the editor of Murder Across the Map, an anthology being published by Top Publications.
