Metally.net Announces Launch Of Huge Online Heavy Metal Lyrics Database
After a recent big content update the Metal Loves You music portal at http://www.metally.net does now provide one of the biggest databases of heavy metal lyrics on the internet. It contains over 100,000 lyrics from about 2,500 different metal bands and artists.
(PRWEB) November 9, 2005 -- The Metal Loves You music portal has now added an index of heavy metal and death metal song lyrics to it's many other features. The lyrics database, that can be accessed at http://www.metally.net/metal_lyrics/lyrics.htm, is split up in 27 different pages, one for each letter of the alphabet, like this one at http://www.metally.net/metal_lyrics/a.html. On those documents all the different bands for which we have wallpapers available are ordered alphabetically.
Currently there are over 100,000 different song lyrics available on Metally.net, which are derived from over 7,000 albums released by about 2,500 heavy metal and death metal bands and artists.
There are song texts available for very popular bands and artists like Metallica (at http://www.metally.net/metal_lyrics/m/metallica.html/) or Slayer (at http://www.metally.net/metal_lyrics/s/slayer.html/) and for Iron Maiden you will find lyrics for every song they have played in their entire career but many "underdogs" are represented, too.
"Providing lyrics was always one of the main goals for Metally.net, as they are an very important way for fans to identify with and understand the music they listen to better. We wanted to make this possible to metal fans as well," said Thomas Höfter, the owner of http://www.metally.net/. "Now no one will hopefully have a problem anymore to find the texts for the songs he desires."
It is planned to update the lyrics database monthly with the song texts of newly released albums to ensure it stays up to date. All updates will be announced on the lyrics index page, which can be found at http://www.metally.net/metal_lyrics/lyrics.htm and on the related music news website http://www.musictopic.net/.
