Company CEO, Mahesh Naithani, states that while the information is syndicated in one sense, it can be customized for each client to focus only on information of interest to them by filtering the data based on their specification of drug/s, disease, indication, and treatment criteria.

The company was founded earlier this year by Mr. Naithani, a pioneer in syndicated medical marketing studies, and former Chairman of Healthcare Communications, Inc. (now PERQ/HCI, a VNU company) and Reliance Medical Information. Dennis Turner, founder and former Chairman of Walsh International, is MediMeme, LLC Chairman of the Board. They are joined in managing the firm by Thomas Moore, former President of Procter & Gamble’s World Wide Health Care Group.

Mr. Naithani explains that MediMeme, LLC is a unique health care information services company because it focuses on medical conferences as the increasingly important place for medical professionals and the healthcare industry to effectively meet and interact, a trend driven by increasing cost and decreasing effectiveness in traditional forms of communication with physicians. He points out the importance of the role medical societies play, providing the forums for this to happen through their conferences.

He further explains that by drawing competitive intelligence from the more important of the 10,000 medical conferences around the world, MediMeme, LLC can move client’s knowledge base forward by a year, or more, because medical conference meetings are the first place break-through medicine is discussed, before it surfaces in other forms and venues.
