Marionette Troupe to Perform at Waldorf School's 15th Annual Holiday Fair

Fair goers at the Waldorf School of Cape Cod's annual Holiday Fair on November 19, 2005, will be treated to the opportunity to take in a faculty-performed marionette show based on an old German fairy tale.

Bourne, MA (PRWEB) November 9, 2005 -- The Early Childhood faculty of the Waldorf School of Cape Cod will be presenting a marionette show based on an old Germany fairy tale at the school's 15th annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 19, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

The fair will take place at the school, located less than a mile from the Bourne Rotary at 85 Cotuit Road.

Admission for adults is $3, and children are admitted free of charge.
This old-fashioned, family-oriented fair has developed quite a following over the years and is sure to please even the most discriminating fair goers.

Among the children's favorites are gingerbread house decorating, candle dipping, the "Angel Room," snow-globe making, and the ever-popular pocket lady!

"We have a juried selection of handmade items from local artisans as well as live musical entertainment, a delectable assortment of homemade deserts in the tea room, and a hearty lunch menu," reports Deb O'Meara, a parent at the school who is serving as the event chair for the 3rd year. "This fundraiser reflects a community-wide effort. All of the parents at the school volunteer their time and talents toward making the Holiday Fair the wonderful event that it is."

The school store, Kindercraft, will be open throughout the fair. Kindercraft offers an unparalleled selection of handmade and natural toys and gifts and is open to the public throughout the school year.

For those interested in learning more about the school's curriculum, there will be a Student Gallery displaying samples of student work and an opportunity to speak with the school's Enrollment Director, Meredith Hunnibell.

Founded in the 1984, the Waldorf School of Cape Cod is a non-profit organization that serves families throughout the Upper Cape and beyond in its parent-child classes, preschool, kindergarten, and grades 1 through 8.
