Women can now show off their sports knowledge in a sexy, feminine way –- with a great-fitting tee or tank made just for them and adorned with creative graphics that send a clear message that she gets the game. We have taken care to utilize the best there is in terms of fabric and applications to create polished yet playful clothing.

Fantoo, a lifestyle brand developed to support the female sports fan, has announced its arrival with the launch of its apparel line, the first component of its numerous business ventures.

The apparel consists of ultra-soft cotton jersey t-shirts and ribbed tanks in custom colors such as blueberry, olive and glazed orange. The shirts are adorned with subtle graphics and phrases such as “Nice Catch,” “Donuts are Sweet” and “Unsportsmanlike Conduct” from sports including football, baseball and auto racing. The silhouettes are custom creations intended to flatter a woman’s figure and blend with her current wardrobe.

“Fantoo apparel blurs the line between fashion and sports,” said Carol Doroba, Head Coach of Fantoo. “Women can now show off their sports knowledge in a sexy, feminine way –- with a great-fitting tee or tank made just for them and adorned with creative graphics that send a clear message that she gets the game. We have taken care to utilize the best there is in terms of fabric and applications to create polished yet playful clothing.”

“Our line is unlike any sports-inspired apparel available to women today,” said Robin McConaughy, General Manager of Fantoo. “Because Carol and I are our target market, we developed exactly what we would want to wear to the game, the pub or a party. We are confident that our attention to the female figure, current fashion influences and a nod to the humorous graphic tee trend, have resulted in a fresh alternative to the licensed apparel available on the market today.”

Fantoo’s apparel is sold on the company’s website, http://www.fantoo.com, as well as at select boutiques and sporting apparel stores. Prices start at $32.

In addition to apparel, Fantoo seeks to become the voice of the female sports fan by offering entertainment, opinion and general information in a format with which the female fan will connect. Unique television, satellite radio and interactive web programming will each play a role in Fantoo’s range of services. Fantoo is currently working with these outlets to provide sports coverage, education and entertainment in an accessible and casual way that will resonate with women while also piquing the interest of men.

“The major area of growth in spectators of professional sports lies with the female audience,” said Robin McConaughy, General Manager of Fantoo. “Many female fans are loyal to their teams and brands, knowledgeable about the game and willing to spend hard-earned dollars on sports-related apparel. Fantoo was created to honor that woman.”

Carol Doroba and Robin McConaughy founded Fantoo in 2004 in response to the lack of stylish and flattering apparel for women who love sports. The commitment to create a lifestyle brand developed when, upon further research, they learned that the female sports community is 70 million and growing. Working through its various channels, Fantoo strives to become the “go-to” brand for the woman who loves sports. Fantoo is headquarted in Franklin Park, New Jersey.
