Las Vegas Audio Visual and Video Production Company Boasts First Use of New Yamaha Digital Mixing Console for Pepsi Event

D A V Productions received one of the first 20 Yamaha M7CL digital mixing consoles via air freight and immediately pressed it into service for the Pepsi "Big Air" show at Mandalay Bay.

(PRWEB) November 10, 2005 -- Las Vegas based audio visual and video production D A V Productions announced that it received one of the first Yamaha M7CL digital mixing consoles shipped to North America. The console was sent via air freight and was immediately pressed into service for the Pepsi "Big Air" show at Mandalay Bay.

"We've always been strong supporters of the Yamaha line of digital consoles" says part-owner and Chief Operating Officer Ben Brownback, "but this latest addition to Yamaha's lineup of digital mixing consoles is the 'silver bullet' of digital consoles and is a perfect fit for much of what we do."

The digital console was purchased through T.C. Furlong of Lake Forest, IL and expedited via air freight for a midnight pickup in Las Vegas.

"After about an hour of learning the console," Brownback adds, "the guys had it down. We made the decision to load it into the Pepsi show that afternoon where it has performed flawlessly. Based on the fact that it's part of the first 20 which shipped out, and the fact that we fast-tracked it onto our show site, this is probably the first production use of the new M7CL in North America."

The D A V Productions staff is thrilled with having 48-channels on a single layer in addition to countless efficiencies and new features built into the M7CL.

"This is about offering value to our clients" states Ryan Legue, Director of Sales for D A V Productions. "Our pricing doesn't go up when we add a new piece of equipment like this. If anything, it allows us to be more competitive, offer more capabilities and be more efficient. A few years ago a truckload of equipment and a team of audio engineers couldn't have accomplished what this console does."

The Pepsi "Big Air" event was held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. In addition to the Media Summit--the event in which the M7CL was used--D A V Productions handled the production needs of the general session and breakout rooms for this large program.
