A map of offender’s home and work locations within a radius of five miles of any address entered by the visitor is created and can be viewed in one of two formats, either a street map or aerial photos of viewing area, with icons for schools and playgrounds.
The notification service is very simple. You specify up to three addresses (not zip codes) that you want to watch and the distance around those addresses. Family Watchdog does the rest. Data is updated daily from multiple public data sources. As soon as a convicted sex offender registers an address in your area, Family Watchdog alerts you.
