(PRWEB) November 10, 2005 -- After the success of the pilot episode, the new TV show "Talk Of The Town With Rick and Kimberly" has been picked up as a 13 week series by Charter Communications in Greenville, South Carolina. The 30-minute entertainment program, hosted by well-known radio personalities Rick Woodell and Kimberly Kelly, showcases the upstate South Carolina, western North Carolina, and northern Georgia regions focusing on local people, places, and events.

In a move to more innovative programming schedules, Charter will run each week's episode twice a day, at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM for 7 days in a row on Charter's local origination channel 10 before moving on to the next episode. All episodes, however, will be hosted for online viewing from the show's web site at www.charter-tv.com.

Seasoned television and film director Ray Belcher will direct the production, which will be taped on location throughout the Carolinas and Georgia, with studio production taped at Charter Media's studios in Greenville, South Carolina and Asheville, North Carolina.

According to co-host Rick Woodell, “There is nothing on local television that looks or feels like it. We all believe we can touch the Carolinas where we live and show everyone what makes the region a wonderful place to call home.” Kimberly Kelly added, “I've always wanted to do a television show... I believe we can take local television to a new level of entertainment.”
