WellDog Wins Top Honors at Energy Venture Fair Two Years in a Row
WellDog selected as one of the five most promising companies at premier energy venture capital conference
Laramie, WY (PRWEB) November 11, 2005 -- WellDog, a Laramie, Wyoming-based energy technology company, was again voted one of the five most promising companies at the Energy Venture Fair, held in Boston, Massachusetts, November 2-3, 2005. WellDog received the same honors at the 2004 Energy Venture Fair held in San Jose, California.
The conference, first held in 2001, showcases over 75 emerging energy-related companies with promising technology. Company representatives are given 15 minutes to present their company and products. The five most promising companies are selected based on a vote by conference attendees.
"We are pleased to be selected again this year," said Wayne Greenberg, CEO of WellDog. "We continue to make great strides in expanding our marketplace, and the Energy Venture Fair is a great place to show our progress as well as our plans for the future."
WellDog adds this award to an already impressive list, including a recent second place showing at the Golden Capital Network Silver and Gold Venture Capital Conference held in mid-October.
WellDog’s Critical Gas Content™ service, commercialized in early 2005, tells developers which coalbed natural gas wells will deliver the most natural gas in the shortest amount of time. Their standard detector has been used to perform the CGC service in over 100 wells in the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. In October, WellDog announced the release of a small diameter detector, which allows them to expand their service to other coal basins in the Western United States and Canada.
