Wishes Come True for Make-a-Wish Foundation of Hawaii
Interactive marketing and technology agency, Red Gazelle Design Group, helps Make-a-Wish Foundation of Hawaii's wishes come true.
Honolulu, HI (PRWEB) November 15, 2005 -- Since its inception in 1982, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii has been unleashing the power of a wish by bringing hope, strength, and joy to more than 500 children with life-threatening medical conditions and creating memories for their families. Now, a wish has come true for those who give their time and energies to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii. They have a new Web site providing them with the ability to form interactive relationships with potential “wish kids,” and to give donors, sponsors and volunteers the ability to get involved immediately.
The Web site (www.makeawishhawaii.org) focuses on the heart of the Make-A-Wish Foundation — the “wish kids,” their stories, and how the organization helps make their dreams come true.
“We needed a strategic marketing approach for the redesign of our Web site, in addition to a site that was easy to update internally. With the new site layout and design and functionality, we have achieved both," said Lyn Brown, Executive Director, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii. “Our heartfelt thanks go to Red Gazelle Design Group. The gifts of their time and expertise have proven to be priceless to our chapter. We've already received positive feedback (about the Web site) from our volunteers, donors, wish families, and other Make-A-Wish chapters. It was a privilege partnering with them and we hope it leads to more projects in the future.”
Jen Vanston, CEO of the local interactive marketing and technology agency (www. redgazelle.com), says her team is equally honored to partner with an organization like the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii. “Our goal for the site was to share the power of a wish® online through the stories of hope, strength, and joy that the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii brings to families every day throughout our state. We were happy to be able to turn the tables and make the Foundation’s wish come true.”
