BellClocks.com to Offer Flexible Holiday Gift Certificates

BellClocks.com will offer gift certificates during the holiday shopping season, in $50, $100, and $200 denominations. This modern program features email gift certificates, perfect for "last minute" shopping. BellClocks.com will also allow use of its certificates to satisfy shipping costs, and sales tax, associated with purchases.

Grovertown, IN (PRWEB) November 11, 2005 -- BellClocks.com (a division of Windward Instruments), a leading retailer of clocks, weather instruments, and related accessories, will make Holiday Gift Certificates available to shoppers throughout the 2005 shopping season, in $50.00, $100.00, and $200.00 denominations. The certificates may be redeemed toward any purchase at bellclocks.com.

In a modern "twist" to gift certificates, BellClocks.com customers may select email gift certificates, with delivery directly to the recipient by email, if requested. Traditional printed certificates are also available, with delivery by first class mail to either the purchaser, or recipient.

Another difference in the BellClocks.com gift certificate is that customers may use certificate funds to satisfy shipping charges, and sales tax associated with a purchase. This differs from most gift certificate programs offered by both “brick and mortar”, and online retailers.

"We feel our gift certificate program allows the greatest flexibility and value to shoppers" said Mike Ratican, the Business Director of Windward Instruments and BellClocks.com. “Almost everyone has received a gift certificate, only to be told they have to pay tax or shipping charges when they try to redeem them. Not only is the thought behind the gift lost if the recipient has to pay for something, it’s also irritating”.

BellClocks.com will also allow cash to be combined with gift certificates, allowing recipients the flexibility to purchase items which exceed the face value of the certificate. “Many retailers don’t allow cash to be combined with gift certificate purchases, and we believe that restriction is unfair to those customers” Ratican continued. “That’s not consistent with good customer service”.

BellClocks.com gift certificates will be available for purchase starting November 15, 2005. Printed certificates will be available through December 15, 2005, while email certificates will remain available through December 22, 2005.
