1986 - 2006 Celebrating 20 Years of Exceptional Photography Workshops

The New Mexico Photography Field School will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year! Field School Director, Craig Varjabedian first started offering photography workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico beginning in 1986.

Santa Fe (PRWEB) November 12, 2005 -- The New Mexico Photography Field School will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year! Field School Director, Craig Varjabedian first started offering photography workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico beginning in 1986. Since then, we have grown 1,000%.

To help celebrate their 20th anniversary, the Field School is offering two new Adventure Field Workshops:

Photographing the Historic Bell Ranch
June 4 - 10, 2006

Monument Valley and the Antelope Slot Canyons
October 1 - 7, 2006

The New Mexico Photography Field School is unique in its offerings: hands-on photography workshops in the Southwest’s canyons, hills and villages. Participants are out to capture the light, color, and texture that is the West. Workshops are for the novice to the experienced photographer, ¬for anyone who wants to master photographic technique while exploring the enchanted land that is New Mexico. Workshops are also planned at their new facility in Santa Fe , including new digital photography workshops.

Field School Director and Instructor Craig Varjabedian has been teaching photography for twenty-five years. His photographs are known for their interpretations of light and place in the Southwest. His works are widely exhibited and collected. Joining the Field School for 2006 is William Plunkett, landscape and nature photographer and Myra Bullington. The workshop program based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Field School is sponsored by Bogen Imaging, Lowepro, Photoflex, MAM-A, Phase One, Smark Disk, and Nik Multimedia. Canon USA has made available EOS 10D cameras for students to try out.
