Lensbabies are unique selective focus SLR camera lenses that bring one area of an image into sharp focus, with the sweet spot of focus surrounded by graduated blur. Photographers can move the sharp area anywhere within the photo by bending the lens.

Lensbabies have won American PHOTO Magazine's Editor's Choice Award and Professional Photographer Magazine's Hot 1 Award because they take compelling portrait, botanical, travel, landscape, wedding, fine art, product, fashion and other types of photos. Lensbabies are available for all digital SLR and 35mm film cameras.

"We're excited to partner with BetterPhoto because we have very similar goals," said Sam Pardue, CEO of Lensbabies. "They want photography to be easy, fun, and creative. That's what we're all about."

"Our 150,000 members love to hear about exciting new products," said Jim Miotke, President of BetterPhoto.com. "We're proud to bring such a cool new product to our members' attention."

Lensbabies' recently launched macro kit includes a +4 and a +10 lens that can be mounted onto the front of either the Original Lensbaby or Lensbaby 2.0. The Lensbaby macro kit allows photographers to focus as close as 2" away and get eye popping details with Lensbaby selective focus effects.

BetterPhoto.com brings together nearly 50,000 active members for learning, fun, and community. The site offers over 50 different online photography classes, taught by world-renowned, published authors; the Winter session will begin on January 4, 2006.
