Brooke Trace Gallery Hosts Toys in the Sun Run Pre-Event on Nov. 18: Benefits Go to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation

The Brooke Trace Gallery & Toys in the Sun Run hosts the Floranada Block Party to benefit the Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital Foundation, Friday, Nov. 18 from 6p.m. to 10p.m. at 1098 NE 45th Street(Floranada Avenue).

(PRWEB) November 12, 2005 -- The Brooke Trace Gallery and the Toys in the Sun Run will hosts the Floranada Block Party on Nov. 18, from 6-10 p.m., benefiting the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation. The event takes place at 1098 NE 45th Street (Floranada Avenue). There will be live music, refreshments and a silent auction hosting a variety of items donated by local supporting businesses. Local residents are invited to enjoy an evening of art and entertainment.

Coinciding with the block party, The Brooke Trace Gallery's November Exhibit Opening will display original artwork ranging from watercolor and oil on canvas, to photography and sculpture. Featured artists include Colin Christian, Mike Turner, Bruce Yodanis, John Bowen, Ed Pang, Brooke Trace, Irwin Weintraub, Kimberly Peterson, Max Gold, Ashton Howard, Tripp Harrison & more, with live music by Miriam Leah Sherwood. This event will also support the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation through donations at the door and the silent auction being held from 6-9:30PM.

In spite of the recent challenges due to hurricane Wilma the following extraordinary businesses have chosen to go forth with this event, Floranada Block Party! The Brooke Trace Gallery hosts its gallery events and exhibit openings on the second Friday of every month. This event was postponed due to the recent hurricane, but the normal schedule will resume next month. Each event features new artist exhibitions and art from classic and modern masters, ranging from the fine art of Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Peter Max and others to the latest works by Max Gold, John Bowen and many others of The Brooke Trace Gallery's Featured Artists. Events have included featured artists meet and greet, and eclectic live entertainment from musical performances, cultural dance performances to live body painting art.
