Challenge Accepted: Make $1m in 55 days

You’ve all heard people who say that it's easy to make $1m on the internet. Is it really easy? It must be possible, but without a timescale eventually it can always be done. Now a company has put their money where their mouth is and accepted the challenge to make US$1 million in the 55 days between 1st November and Christmas Day.

Berkhamsted, UK (PRWEB) November 13, 2005 -- You’ve all heard people who say that it's easy to make $1m on the internet. Is it really easy? It must be possible, but without a timescale eventually it can always be done. Now a company has put their money where their mouth is and accepted the challenge to make US$1 million in the 55 days between 1st November and Christmas Day.

http://www.groovymoo.com was set up on 1st November 2005 by Paul Johnston, an Internet Entrepreneur from the UK. The site started by selling advertising on its front page on 7th November 2005. By 9th November, there had been 20,000 hits on the website.

This isn’t a get rich quick scheme - 50% of all site revenue will go to a charity working with disadvantaged children and the percentage could rise. Referrals to the website will generate 25% of the first fee for the referrer. Front page adverts are priced at $10, $100, $1000 depending on size and position.

The website http://www.groovymoo.com is already making money for charity and for Johnston. The first advertisers are already seeing many clicks on their websites. Web Entrepreneur, Johnston says “I keep hearing about Internet millionaires and decided to see if I could do this and support charity at the same time. If this works then it would be a real money earner for charities in the future, raising valuable funds at a really low outlay.”
