Selling Pixels to Casino Owners in Search of Gamblers

In a novel approach to advertising to gamblers, The Gambler, the self-styled owner of the http://www.milliondollargamblinghomepage.com is willing to bet his website that casino owners, poker playing sites, bingo halls, online bookmakers and gambling affiliates would like to expand their audience.

(PRWEB) November 13, 2005 -- The Million Dollar Gambling Homepage has pixels, pixels and even more pixels ready and waiting to be snapped up.

In a novel approach to advertising to gamblers, The Gambler, the self-styled owner of
the http://www.milliondollargamblinghomepage.com is willing to bet his website that casino owners, poker playing sites, bingo halls, online bookmakers and gambling affiliates would like to expand their audience.

He's offering his website for sale to advertisers at the rate of $1 a pixel. People can buy pixels, which are available in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels), and then display an image/ad/logo of their casino, gambling or betting website. The site is divided into 10,000 of these 100-pixel blocks, making 1,000,000 gambling pixels in total.

In his pitch to gambling firm owners, The Gambler says, "I only want people who love doing what I love doing. Betting and gambling. I have deliberately excluded everyone whose site is unrelated to gambling and betting because I want your image to really jump out in a less cluttered environment. If you buy a good size block of pixels, the homepage will fill up with more relevant and better-looking ads with less clutter. You have a unique opportunity to really dominate the page, just like some of the casinos and poker sites that have already taken space."

The website is even more of a bargain since pixel sales are online for at least five years, The Gambler says. "Starting from the day it launched, that means the advertisements will be online at least until November 2010, but possibly even longer."

And how did he come up with this idea?

"There are similiar sites out there but they permit advertisers of every kind to pitch their products and services. So I thought why not create a similar sort of site but dedicated solely to what I love best gambling and betting? My site is truly original. Even if you have a gambling related site that's willing to take a bet on two raindrops running down a window pane, then my million dollar home page is for you. Heck if I can get a million dollar stake together I'm going to have one hell of a good time spending it," chuckles The Gambler.

Pixels are available on a first come-first served basis.
