Xanthe Films has announced a new film called "FAHRENHEIT BELIZE" to be completed by late Spring of the next year. According to the film's director and CEO of Xanthe Films, Mr. Edwin Colon, the film aims to have the aggressive approach like that of Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" which was considered a very controversial theme in the history of American film and politics and also won big at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
Mr. Colon told journalists that his film will be produced in association with other Belizean non-political affiliated organizations and also features never before seen stock footages of Belizean politics in tyranny and powerplay.
The film's strong message will be the portrayal of the dereliction of duty in Belize's political leadership.
Once finalized, the film will be submitted for approved air time on the Discovery Times Channel's "World Wire" series. Mr. Colon previously produced "THE COURTROOM", a drama feature in Belize which was adapted from a stage play written by a member of the Toledo Civil Society. That film depicted a trial in which Belize Governance was tried by its citizens in a court of law. It was sponsored by The Commonwealth Foundation.
The official website for Xanthe Films is http://www.xanthefilms.com.
