Tawana Williams To Appear On Judge Hatchett Courtroom Series

Author inspires and empowers as she assists in the intervention of courtroom youth

(PRWEB) November 15, 2005 -- World-renowned, author and motivational speaker Tawana Williams is scheduled to appear on "Judge Hatchett" on Thursday, November 17. The show can be seen at 10:00 AM EST on the FOX network. "Judge Hatchett" is a nationally syndicated, weekday courtroom series. The Honorable, Judge Glenda Hatchett recently asked Williams for assistance during her successful intervention of a female youth in her courtroom.

Tawana Williams, who has been mentoring youth for more than a decade, said that she will never forget the event. She described it as a once-in-a-lifetime invitation to make an empowering impact in the life of a youth, as well as work with one of the world's most distinguished judges. During the taping, Judge Hatchett and Williams admirably exchanged books that each of them had authored.

“It was a wonderful opportunity to assist Judge Glenda Hatchett," Williams commented. “The experience was unbelievable. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to be Judge Hatchett's interceptor.”

Tawana Williams is author of the recently released book, "Unarmed But Dangerous." The publication, which includes a foreword by motivational speaker Les Brown, chronicles how Tawana overcame the darkest periods of her life.

Williams concluded her intervention on The Judge Hatchett show by demonstrating how she writes using only her feet. Tawana Williams was born without any arms and uses her lower extremities to accomplish what most people do with their hands.
