As worldwide newspaper subscriptions continue their downward slide, people are increasingly turning to the Internet for news, research and guidance. And although there are plenty of well known news sources available online from names that people know like the BBC and CNN, the waters turn muddy very quickly when it comes to sources for financial advice.
“Because there are so many investment, credit, and banking web sites on the Internet, consumers and investors spend far too much time locating those that are particularly valuable to them. The difficulty in locating financial information sources, as well as the issues of determining whether or not the information being presented is of any value, leaves the visitor even less informed then they were before they arrived”; according to Jim Pannell, Managing Director of Six Media Interactive Ltd., a London-based company that recently launched a financial portal called http://www.europinions-finance.co.uk/.
According to Pannell, the goal of the website is to provide “an unbiased and complete representation of the leading financial destinations on the web.” The site acts as a portal to EU websites and companies that provide information, products and services related to General Personal Finance, Pensions, Credit Cards, Loans, Mortgages, Savings, Insurance, and Investments.
Europinions-finance.co.uk is the newest addition to the europinions network of sites, which have been a major UK shopping presence since 2003, and is now widely accessed by consumers in Germany, France and Denmark since its expansion into those countries.
Pannell feels confident that the newest family member will provide the same level of service to consumers and investors as the other europinions sites do.
