Santa Claus to Make Personal Appearance at Snowtacular 2005 Festival on November 26 in Redlands, Calif.

Well-known recluse Santa Claus has agreed to headline the Snowtacular 2005! event on November 26, starting at 10 AM,in Redlands, California, providing kids and families the opportunity to meet Santa Claus as part of this annual Thanksgiving Weekend sales event.

Redlands, Calif. (PRWEB) November 16, 2005 -- North Pole resident and popular recluse Santa Claus, will join with Thanksgiving Weekend Holiday Season festivities at Snowtacular 2005! in Redlands, California. Snowtacular 2005 is slated for November 26 from 10 am to 4 pm.

For more information about the Snowtacular 2005!, daily event updates are posted at www.snowtacular.com

In a written statement issued through an unidentified diminutive representative, Santa Claus indicated, "I am pleased to attend Snowtacular 2005! in Redlands this year. It is a nice opportunitiy for the kids and their parents to come meet me and enjoy the start of the Holiday Season," The written statement also indicated, "I'd encourage any parents coming to Snowtacular to bring their cameras, as I will be around all day for pictures with you and your kids." Santa Claus declined to offer his well-known, stylized "Ho-Ho-Ho" for reporters at the media event, saying he was saving it for the big show.

Santa Claus has been active during the Holiday Season for many years, with many tracing his origins to well before the prior century. Santa Claus has yet to offer any explanation for his apparent historic longevity, which some experts have attributed to the calming cold climate of the North Pole and recruiting trips to Wisconsin and Minnesota. Santa Claus has also declined to comment on reports of his apparent vast net worth, which many have attributed to an effective just-in-time distribution network which sees many of the toys manufactured at the North Pole appear at retail stores nationwide, as if by magic.

Known for his signature red seasonal outfits and classic fashion sense, Santa Claus will join Hollywood personality Juanita Tapia in hosting the Snowtacular fashion show on November 26, featuring 2005 Holiday Season fashion apparel from Citiwear, Ross, and Tempo Fashions. At Snowtacular, Santa Claus has also agreed to accept early deliveries of "naughty or nice" reports from children and parents.

Snowtacular is the Inland Empire's Winter Holiday Season Kick-off Spectacular, at Tri-City Shopping Center in Redlands, California. Now in its second year, the event includes 20 tons of snow for the kids, visits and photos with Santa Claus, horse and carriage rides, live music and holiday fashions on the Snowtacular stage, and kid's entertainment in Santa's Village. The celebration and Thanksgiving Weekend Sales Event, sponsored by Redlands Tri-City Center merchants, is free and open to the general public.

Redlands' Tri-City Shopping Center is conveniently located off the Interstate 10 Freeway in Redlands, at either the Alabama Street or Tennessee Street exits south.
