Lawrenceville, NJ (PRWEB) November 17, 2005
Jaya Teas, LLC is proud to announce new arrangement to sell its selection of fine teas and tea wares at Champak Gallery in Lambertville, New Jersey.
When asked why she considered Champak Gallery as a venue for selling teas, Ms. Pareek said, “Recently when I was strolling through the Champak Gallery, it struck me that Jaya Tea's portfolio of teas would be a perfect addition to Champak's art collection because our teas are really a work of art. The care, the labor and the appreciation that goes into making the teas is no less than the care and labor that goes into producing a work of art. Besides, being a local business, it made sense for us to have a presence in Lambertville, New Jersey. This is why, I am very pleased to have Jaya Teas be a part of Champak Gallery's collection. We wish them success in their art business as well as their tea business”.
Ms. Goodman echoed the feelings of Dr. Pareek. “When we first opened the gallery in Lambertville, we realized that Lambertville lacked a specialty tea store that offered premium teas,” said Ms. Goodman, “and tea being central to South Asian lifestyle, both Brian and I felt as though there was a gap in our collection. So we decided to add teas, starting with Chinese Teas.” Ms. Goodman, “Since that time, we have made so many new friends who stop by to order teas from us and chat with us about art, spirituality and life. Tea has become a social lubricant for us, and we are immensely pleased to add the Single Estate, handmade teas, and flavored Indian teas from Jaya Teas to our collection”.
Ms. Goodman also said that Champak Gallery will soon formally open a tea section in its gallery where patrons can enjoy both the Chinese and Indian teas.
Champak Gallery is located at 10, North Union Street, Lambertville, New Jersey. Champak Gallery was started in 2004 by Isabelle Goodman and Brian Lyszkowski to celebrate the art and culture of South Asian countries, especially Indonesia. Residents of Doyelstown, PA, both Isabelle and Brian have a passion for South East Asian way of life and spirituality. This is reflected in the collection of art and handicrafts in their gallery. Champak Gallery is soon going to open a tea section where patrons will be able to enjoy hot cups of Indian and Chinese teas.
Jaya Teas, LLC is a Lawrenceville, NJ based company focused on bringing outstanding Indian teas to the citizens of the world. Jaya Teas was started in 2004 by Dr. Madhulika Pareek. As a new immigrant to the United States, Dr. Pareek struck by the fact that while the Americans had excellent selections of coffee, their selections of tea were rather appalling.
Coming from a family involved in tea business, this kind of indifference to quality was shocking to Dr. Pareek. So, she set about doing what any person with a passion for tea would do; start a tea company and leverage her tea connections in India to source premium quality teas, as a service to the people of her newly adopted land. Since then,Jaya Teas has brought to its US customers several Single Estate teas, boutique, hand made teas produced exclusively for Jaya Teas, and flavored teas. Jaya Teas conducts seminars and tea tastings to educate people about the beauty and appreciation of teas. Jaya teas is sold locally in several health food stores, specialty tea stores and online.
