New Lite Headlight Cleaner and Headlight Restorer Is Able To Remove the Yellow, Cloudiness from Plastic Headlights and Restore Them to New Again

The number of dirty, cloudy, worn, yellowed headlights are exponentially increasing. We see them everywhere. Every manufacturer has now moved to using clear plastic lenses which have a limited life span of just 3years or less. Replacement lenses are very costly $200 - $500 each - not including installation. M.D. Wholesale has patented products that will solve this problem.

(PRWEB) November 17, 2005 -- Mdwholesale.com is excited to announce that they are marketing their patented headlight cleaner and restorer. This will be a very hot selling item as it cures a long standing problem in the automotive industry, cloudy, yellow headlights. It is currently in use by police departments, car dealerships, etc... David Maillie states that it is a cost effective alternative to costly replacement headlight lenses. He also stated that it has been proven to make night time driving safer.

Cloudy, worn, yellowed headlights are quite common today as the clear plastic look is now standard on every make and model of car and truck. And these clear lenses have been found to degrade very quickly due to heat, sun damage, acid rain, severe weathering and a host of similar harsh conditions.

In inventing this headlight cleaner and restorer, they questioned many people as to what they had done to remove or fix the yellowed, cloudy headlights. When questioned, most said they couldn't afford, or didn't want to pay the high prices of replacements from their local auto dealer. The average price for a pair of replacement plastic headlights at local auto dealerships was found to be around $450 - that didn't even include the installation and alignment (that would be another $60-120). Some aftermarket headlights were found to exist, but had received mixed reviews on fit, finish and availability, and the savings were slim to none.

Test marketing began with numerous branches and departments of government (from local police to the Department of Transportation, Energy, and even the U.S. ARMY and Navy). It was found that the police had similar problems with their light bars fading and becoming cloudy as the plastic wore down due to the effects of the sun and weathering. Through much research and testing a very effective headlight cleaner and restorer was invented and this was then sent to the USPTO for a patent. The treatment conceved is applied to the exterior of the headlight lens where the damage is worst and we wanted to make it so anyone could do it - it doesn't take a mechanic to do it.

With this ability to quickly and easily restore lenses that were once discarded, new profit centers wer found. Junk and salvage yards could restore and resell used lenses for more money. Dealerships could sell increase their profits as they could offer this as a service and apply it to their used cars with yellowed headlights. Even inspection/service stations could benefit from the headlight cleaner and restorer as some customers that failed inspection due to dull headlights were able to quickly alleviate this problem.

M.D. Wholesale has been in the automotive business for many years developing new technologies through research and clynical analysis. David Maillie, president of M.D. Wholesale, is an alumni of Cornell University and specializes in biochemical synthesis for public, private, and governmental interests. He holds numerous patents including the recently awarded patent for headlight cleaner and restorer.
