Interaction Associates , Inc., a 36-year-old consulting and performance improvement company, has announced the promotion of Michael Papanek to the position of General Manager, New Channels Division.

In his new role, Papanek will be responsible for expanding the company’s reach to new markets and customers, by delivering cost-effective solutions for improving business performance. He will develop new ways to deploy Interaction Associates’ learning content, frameworks, tools and skills, to new markets and alternative channels of distribution. The aim of the new division is to accelerate performance improvement and deliver high levels of satisfaction in the areas of results, process and relationship to many more companies and individuals than is currently possible. The new channels division supplements the Solutions Division of Interaction Associates, which focuses on assisting clients in the following key areas: Accelerated Leadership Development, High Performance Teams, Collaborative Change Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Michael Papanek has been an account manager, collaboration consultant, and group facilitator at Interaction Associates for more than 13 years. In that time he has designed and implemented projects that support large-scale culture change efforts, and improved business results for his clients by delivering skill development solutions in leadership, teamwork, facilitation, strategic thinking and change management.
Prior to joining Interaction Associates, Michael specialized in the application of information technology to achieve business results for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). His experience there includes major system implementations for General Motors’ Financial Division and Blue Shield of California. Michael has served on the Board of Directors of Interaction Associates, Inc.
Michael earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of the Pacific and has completed graduate work in management and information technology at the University of Detroit and the University of Michigan.
