Coin of the Month Club.com changes subscription format to reach larger market.

“We've reduced the monthly quantity of geography fact cards, essentially eliminating a sizeable chunk of graphics costs, making subscriptions more affordable and available to a larger audience,” said Jim Bolone, the company’s founder. “And if this means more sales, then that means more kids will be learning more geography and collecting great coins of the world.”

The product is a way for adults to purchase a unique, educational, and collectible gift for kids in a convenient, yet personal way. Prior to receiving their first package, children are notified in a post card that they have been “gifted” by a sponsoring adult. Beginning with month one, a child receives a coin, geography card, a letter from Anna and Charlie, a magnifying glass, coin pouch, and official club decal. Succeeding months bring another world coin and its geography fact card. The web site also offers a custom downloadable gift card.
