GETitSELLit.com Makes It Easy to Publish Classified Ads on Google Base
GETitSELLit.com, a free classifieds website, has released functionality that makes it easy for people to transfer classified ads to Google Base, Google's new free classified ad system.
(PRWEB) November 21, 2005 -- People can post thousands of classified ads at once into Google Base by uploading a properly formatted tab-delimited text file.
The most common method for creating these files will be to export data from a spreadsheet or database; but many computer users may find this to be a difficult task.
GETitSELLit responded to the Google Base announcement by creating a feature that makes it easy to export the file directly from GETitSELLit for easy import into Google Base.
People simply post ads on GETitSELLit and then click a link to download their tab-delimited file. Uploading the file to Google Base just takes a few more clicks. GETitSELLit members have free access to this feature and to an HTML export feature that makes it easy to copy and paste ads into other websites sites like eBay and craigslist.
Speculators have been predicting that Google Base will create enormous competition for print classifieds and online marketplaces.
GETitSELLit founder Mike Janzen agrees but adds, "I think Google Base will be competition for those that don't embrace the fact that information wants to be free. Those of us that get it and support it will prosper as web users discover how easy we make it to get their ads seen."
Janzen, who has worked for Wells Fargo Bank for the past five years as part of the bank's commercial services web portal, launched GETitSELLit.com on October 31, 2005.
GETitSELLit.com, is a grass roots dotcom located in California. It is an independent website and is not affiliated with Wells Fargo, Google, eBay or craigslist.
