North Andover, MA (PRWEB) November 20, 2005
L-com Connectivity Products, Incorporated, a more than twenty year veteran of the cable assembly and connectivity industry, announced today that it has launched its full product line on Amazon.com, the world's biggest online retailer. Al Contarino, President of L-com, said, "Making shopping for connectivity products easy is what L-com does. Integrating with Amazon.com's customers to give them direct access to our parts while still shopping on Amazon.com is just one more step in the same direction." Amazon.com will now list over 3500 separate items from L-com's online catalog, including popular cable assemblies, adapters, and connectors, distributed products, and L-com exclusive items.
This launch follows a year long integration process. L-com contracted with Bostech Corporation, out of Indianapolis, to use their innovative LINC software solution to create a real-time bridge between L-com's live product database and Amazon.com's web presence. This means Amazon.com's customers will see all of L-com's in-stock items and their current prices on Amazon.com's site, and that L-com will be able to ship the same day that an order is placed on Amazon.com. "The process was a definite learning experience," said Dave Fallon, Internet Marketing Strategist for L-com. "I think the journey was as important as the destination in this case. Now not only have we improved on the ease of web-shopping for L-com's products, but we've also learned a lot about future improvements we can make."
L-com Connectivity Products has long been a preferred provider in the telecom, military, aerospace, medical, and computer electronics industries for items such as video, Ethernet, and data cable assemblies, unique adapters and connectors, and hard-to-find items such as their extensive IEEE-488 product line. In its more than twenty year history, L-com has established itself as a helpful and informative company, with their web site and print catalogs offering free tutorials, technical advice, engineering drawings, CAD models, and more.
