US Prisoner Hires Psychic Detective

Convicted killer hires Britain's top psychic detective to help prove his innocence.

(PRWEB) November 26, 2005 -- A man who won a reprieve from execution in the States has enlisted the help of a psychic detective to help prove his innocence.

John Merritt was sentenced for execution in Miami Florida following his conviction for the slaying of medical researcher Darrell Davis in 1982.
An eleventh hour appeal, based on inadmissible evidence being used at his trial, won him a reprieve and his sentence was commuted to 35 years.
Now, acting on Merritt’s instructions, campaigners for his release have hired Britain’s top psychic detective, Robert Cracknell, to help uncover crucial evidence that will set him free.

Robert Cracknell, famous for his work on the Yorkshire Ripper case as well as dozens of murders and kidnappings, lives on the island of Cyprus.

The psychic detective has written to the Florida Department of Corrections for permission to meet Merritt face to face.
Robert Cracknell’s spokesman Kizzi Nkwocha said: “Robert receives hundreds of requests for his services on a daily basis. He has, in the past, turned them all down. All except this one. He has a feeling about the Merritt case and believes he was meant to get involved.”

Robert Cracknell, 70, is the author of the best selling book, The Case Book of a Psychic Detective.

The book, a sequel to his autobiography Clues to the Unknown, delves into a number of high-profile cases that Cracknell has solved or helped to solve during his career. Case Boook detailed Cracknell’s adventures in solving cases in various parts of the globe, tracking down individuals who range from simple absconders, those fleeing the responsibilities of financial agreements to devious and cunning criminals.

It tells how he solved the famous £3 million ‘Southern Organ’ scandal on which Interpol had drawn a blank, how he led the Italian Police to the kidnappers of a millionaire’s daughter, as well as the details of the Yorkshire Ripper case and many more.
