The Train can travel down from Edinburgh or Glasgow or up from London via Birmingham; or it can be routed to suit the client’s needs.
The Great Briton is currently being re-liveried to be one of the best First Class dining trains in the UK. Each 42-seat carriage is named after a famous Briton, and there are 6 carriages and two kitchen cars in the regular Train formation.
The Great Briton has intercity-quality ride and soundproofing. The air conditioned carriages are spacious and have none of the space restrictions imposed by coach or air travel. There are panorama windows and armchair-style seats with headrest covers. All seats benefit from full-size tables with covers, flowers and lamps.
Fine dining is available on The Great Briton which is steward-served and chef-prepared from fresh ingredients in fully-equipped onboard kitchens. The stewards and chefs also work on the Royal Train. Train Chartering offers branding, theming & onboard entertainment options to charterers, as well as complete ground handling at stations.
The Great Briton can be chartered for one day or the whole Championship, and is secured on deposit.
