Hit Television Series “CHOP CUT REBUILD” Shifts to a Five-SPEED Monday Through Friday, Primetime Schedule

(PRWEB) November 23, 2005 -- Was Productions Inc. announces its inaugural series, "Chop Cut Rebuild" - one of North America’s most successful automotive build / customization shows - will begin airing 5 nights a week on Speed Channel. The show, now in its second season, brings automotive customizing to an exciting and creative new plateau - will begin its Monday thru Friday broadcasts at 11:00 pm EST and 8:00 pm PST starting November 28th.

Series host and concept creator - Dan Woods, was extremely pleased with the recent news delivered from network executives at Speed Channel. “We’re thrilled with the new schedule. It’s a great opportunity for our series to increase its profile with automotive enthusiasts all across North America.”

Mr. Woods, a veteran cast member of the Emmy award winning “Degrassi” franchise, parlayed eighteen years of experience with the internationally acclaimed series in creating the production mandate when he founded Was Productions Inc., in 2004.

Chop Cut Rebuild delivers automotive customization and builds in a broad spectrum – from the refurbishing of barnyard strays to showroom queens - to boldly creative design on exotic classics. Cars profiled on the show have gone on to paramount recognition - Shown at SEMA yearly in Las Vegas, while another project challenged a world speed record at the Bonneville Flats in Utah. Filmed at numerous custom car shops in Southern California, the series gives viewers unparalleled insight into the real world of custom car restoration and modification.

The producers of the series, including Mr. Woods and Megan Waters, extend their gratitude to the constantly growing fan base of the series, and welcome the many new viewers the additional broadcasts are slated to attract with prime time airings five nights a week on the West Coast.
