“Steve Carlson is a seasoned musician who has lived life and written parables that are almost visual. His own dynamic, combined with that of his collaborators, creates a presentation that brings stories to life.” - Lauri Shaw – Music Connection Magazine.

With original songs in such movies as "Just Married" with Ashton Kutcher and "Life or Something Like It", starring Angelina Jolie, Carlson 's song "Under You" from his first solo CD has been placed in the new film "Mem-O-Re", starring Dennis Hopper, Billy Zane and Ann Margret.

“Mem-O-Re” is written and directed by Bennett Davlin, who wrote the screenplay.
