Finally, Originality in a Book

"The Fortress city" is a rollercoaster ride that leaves you gasping for more

(PRWEB) November 23, 2005 -- "The Fortress city" is the first tale by up and coming writer K.G. Childs. It is a story of a young boy, who grows up in a world controlled by a corrupt and powerful King. He loses both his parents at a young age, but is adopted into another family, who take him to their ancestral home.

The town's folk are a suspicious people, who bully and abuse our young hero as he grows up. Finally, one day he is forced to flee the town.

The journey he is sent on is a mad, headlong dash from insecure young man to powerful warrior, who leads an army against much larger odds. However, our hero does not have it all his own way. As he travels and meets a cast of wonderful characters, he has to learn that there are consequences to every action and he must choose carefully when to use his power and when not too.
