Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) November 23, 2005 -- Women seeking information about their sexual health and loss of desire can turn to AM 1160 or http://www.wbob.com/ and click on listen live on Saturday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. EST when Lisa Martinez RN/JD, Executive Director of The Women’s Sexual Health Foundation, and Dr. Susan Kellogg Spadt of the foundation’s professional advisory board are the featured guests on “Let’s Just Talk” with host Kathryn Raaker. The Women’s Sexual Health Foundation, founded in 2003 by Martinez, is a non-profit international organization whose primary mission is to educate women and healthcare providers on medical conditions that may impact their sexual health. This could include breast cancer, pelvic surgery, chemotherapy, medications and diabetes among others.
Women are asking questions. Is my loss of desire due to being on anti-depressants or medications? Could being post-menopausal be the problem? When I had my hysterectomy with removal of ovaries I noticed a loss of desire. Is it in “my head” or because of the surgery? Can chemotherapy be a cause? Women and their loved ones can have their questions answered and find solutions by calling in live to the program at 1-866-749-LIVE. Dr Susan Kellogg Spadt is the co-founder of the Pelvic & sexual Health Institute at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia where she has been the Director of Sexual Medicine. She will join Lisa Martinez on the program and be available to answer listeners’ questions.
“We have found that women are like islands sometimes when it comes to discussing loss of desire, and The Women’s Sexual Health Foundation is building the communication and education bridges between women and their healthcare providers,” said Martinez.
Tune in on Saturday, December 3 to AM 1160 or go to http://www.wbob.com/ and click on listen live to hear Lisa Martinez, Dr. Susan Kellogg Spadt and “Let’s Just Talk” host Kathryn Raaker discuss and take listener’s questions on what is the number one problem concerning women’s sexuality-Loss of Desire.
