Also, the disaster recovery functionality has been enhanced, allowing for bootable disaster recovery in CDs and DVDs, plus full bare metal restore for most Windows® operating systems.

StompSoft is extending one time special pricing to its existing StompSoft BackUp MyPC customers to migrate to its new PC BackUp desktop edition for $9.99. The special pricing is effective immediately and ends December 31, 2005. PC BackUp can be purchased on the StompSoft website.
DISCONTINUATION OF STOMPSOFT BACKUP MYPC
StompSoft BackUp MyPC will continue to be available through December 31, 2005. However, after December 31, 2005, StompSoft will discontinue distribution, and StompSoft will make no further development or enhancement and will not provide additional drive support or feature development to StompSoft BackUp MyPC. StompSoft will continue to provide technical support of the current version of StompSoft BackUp MyPC on the presently supported platforms and devices. “The venerable StompSoft BackUp MyPC backup and disaster recovery software has been a main-stay in desktop backup for many years, winning many coveted awards from respected publications” said Michael Hummell, president of StompSoft.
