Protecting Women and Children from Sex Predators

Technology comes to the rescue in protecting women and children from sex predators. Andy Bowdoin of GPS Tech, Inc announced today a series of products that will track both women and children anywhere in the world using GPS technology.

Quincy, Florida (PRWEB) November 24, 2005 -- Technology comes to the rescue in protecting women and children from sex predators. Andy Bowdoin of GPS Tech, Inc announced today a series of products that will track both women and children anywhere in the world using GPS technology.

Bowdoin says, “We’ve studied the problem for a long time; it pains me to watch the news every night and see the horrific crimes committed against women and children. I decided to do something about it and our program is called IonTechnology™.

On the surface, it is a seemingly impossible task to provide around the clock protection for children. Improved technology is somewhat the cause of the problem so it follows that technology should come to the rescue too…and it does! It is called the IonKids System and it uses GPS technology for personal application!

It consists of two components: a comfortable, unobtrusive bracelet for the child to wear and a convenient base unit a parent can easily carry and operate. This small, easy to use device is used by the parent or guardian to monitor the location of the Wristag™ wearer. The Base Unit, a handheld device, allows parents to monitor up to four Wristags simultaneously. This specially designed, tamper-and water-resistant bracelet is worn by the child. The Wristag is designed to be fun to wear and requires no interaction on the part of the child. IonKids Wristags adjust to fit snugly against your child’s skin, and contain a strong locking Mechanism that cannot be easily opened without a key, which comes with the Base Unit.

For teenagers and women, GPS Tech, Inc offers a cellphone with a GPS tracking device built in. Not only does it track the person but it also provides a log as to everywhere that person has gone. Cellphones are now more than just a voice communication unit.

Another product to protect women is called WiSafe. WiSafe is a GPS product that is installed in your wife’s vehicle. If she gets into an emergency situation she can push a button that will immediately alert our National Control Center. The National Control Center will quickly notify the proper authorities and give them her location. The National Control Center will continue to monitor the location of your wife’s vehicle and keep the authorities posted. They will also alert you.

The power of GPS tracking has now been unleashed in other than a commercial application. Protection is paramount, but it just got easier with IonTechnology™.
