About (Just Like) Starting Over:
Seattle playwright Steven Roseta authored the stage play (Just Like) Starting Over. It is a dialogue-driven story that will make the audience feel like a fly on a wall inside the Lennons’ quarters in New York's Dakota apartments on December 8th 1980. They talk openly about: emerging from five years of seclusion to release Double Fantasy, reversing roles, and a newly found familial bliss. It is revealed how the marriage of minds between John and Yoko yielded so many complex artistic and political statements. Rendering the timeless relevance of his art and words, John’s intriguing commentary on such transformations as the anti-war movement, terrorism, women’s rights, religious freedom, racial equality, and conservative politics echo clearly into our world today. For more information, contact Melanie King at (206) 817-3347.
