(PRWEB) November 25, 2005 -- "May God Forget Me" is a new novel about a young adopted woman in search of her roots. Lorena Martin's childhood is marked by fear and insecurity. Lorena is adopted, or at least thinks she is. Growing up in the home of an abusive mother, she knows that for some reason she is different from the rest of her family. But when she realizes that she was not adopted but kidnapped by the woman posing as her mother, she starts a journey where she loses her faith.

"May God Forget Me" was written by Romanian-born Swiss author Héloïse Newdon. The 292-page book was published in paperback this past September by Publish America. The book is available through most online book services, bookstores and her website at www.heloisenewdon.com

"Lorena doesn't understand the lack of love from her parents," Newdon says. "She was suffering because she learned too late in the life about this adoption. She lost faith when she knew that she was kidnapped. I wanted to also show that in front of the difficulties some people can lose faith."

"The loss of faith is the reason why I named the book, May God forget me," she says. "Her pain was so deep when she learns about being kidnapped that she shouts her rage to God imploring him to forget her."

"How Lorena rediscovered her faith? Is the importance of the novel," Newdon tells.

Newdon lives now in Lausanne, Switzerland where she runs her own pharmacy. She is married and has one daughter. Between parenting and business, she writes books. "May God forget me," was her first which she says, "feels like a travel through Austria, Switzerland and particularly Hawaii, which is extremely dear to me." The second, a French-only novel called, "Bis for the same God," is a story about a woman who married the same man twice.

She is currently working on her third book under the working title of, "The murder Donkey," a strange story about "a dead Donkey who can still kill."
